Questo vecchio mulino in disuso è stato trasformato in un ristorante / pizzeria a conduzione familiare. Le ricette dei piatti si tramandano da genitori a figli da ben tre generazioni; qui potrete gustare specialità tipiche (di terra e di mare) preparate con ingredienti freschi. È un locale perfetto per le famiglie, con un’ampia area di gioco per i bambini; ogni venerdì, sabato e domenica vengono messi in scena spettacoli d’intrattenimento gratuiti dedicati ai più piccoli.

Una volta superata la porta d’ingresso vi ritroverete in una stanza molto piccola, ma superando il corridoio potrete accomodarvi in un’accogliente saletta costruita nel cortile sul retro del locale.

This is a welcoming and comfortable osteria where you can enjoy an aperitif of fine wine and good beer, followed by a sit-down meal. Its menu is rigorously home-made and there is a good choice of traditional and innovative dishes. It is particularly pleasant when the weather is nice and you can have an aperitif or dinner outside.

This is the oldest osteria in Italy and has been visited by famous people through the ages. It is an important wine bar with an extensive selection of wines. Whilst it is nice to sit back and enjoy a good wine it is also worth tasting their Cappellacci – voted by some members of staff as being the best in Ferrara!

The seafood is excellent and the antipastos are a real specialty of this restaurant. At lunchtime there is a set menu which is great value. In the evening it has an a la carte menu with a lot more choice but still offers reasonable prices.

Once an old mill, the Vecchio Mulino has been a family run restaurant/pizzeria for three generations, passing down its family’s recipes and traditions from generation to generation. As well as a pizzeria, it also specializes in typical Ferrarese cooking using fresh products from the local area, and seafood which is caught locally from the Adriatic sea. It is a great place for all the family as it has a special area dedicated to children and offers entertainment for them on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for free.

This is a tiny, traditional pizzeria perfect for a casual, quick supper. It sells slices of Margherita or Napolitano pizza (with anchovies) and the best ceci (chickpea bread) in Ferrara for 3- 5 euros, all baked in a traditional wooden oven. Sit at one of the few tables or at the kitchen bar and you will soon feel at home.

Eating out on a moored boat makes this pizzeria/restaurant a family favourite, especially with children. The atmosphere is loud and lively making it a fun evening out. The menu is endless and the prices are reasonable. The pizzas are enormous and delicious too.

There is an excellent choice of pizzas at this restaurant/pizzeria and they are thin crust, enormous and delicious! This restaurant also specializes in seafood and has a wide selections of traditional and innovative dishes. In the summer the large patio windows are opened and there is a little playground area for children with a fence around it. Indoors, the restaurant caters for large parties, as well as having smaller rooms or areas for more intimate dining.
