From Saturday 16thMay all green areas, parks and the Walls will reopen to the public in Ferrara. The town mayor reminds people that we are still in an emergency situation and asks people to continue to respect the rules. You must keep at least 1 metre distance from other people and you are not allowed to meet up in groups. Playground equipment in parks remains out of bounds.
Testaperaria Book Shop
It is well-worth visiting this book shop’s website which has lots of ideas for reading, creating and playing. It offers a series of workshops for children ‘I piccolo laboratori di Sara’ and there is an interesting section called ‘Video letture di Testaperaria’, with a selection of children’s books read by adults.
Casa Niccolini – Library for children
On the town’s official website for libraries, look up ‘Biblioteca Casa Niccolini’. They have uploaded two documents with interesting links for audio books, little shows and online reading for children. The links are called: “Casa Niccolini non vi lascia mai soli 1 & 2”
We often feature this organization’s events as lots of local shops, galleries, charities and museums link up with them to provide lots of fun events for everyone. They are very creative! Visit their website for all their up and coming events and to book online. Here are just a few which caught my eye:
